Invitations sent for the IPCH Qualification Tournament
Invitations for the IWAS Powerchair Hockey (IPCH) Qualification Tournament has been sent.
It will take place from the 8th – 14th October 2019 in Prague, Czech Republic. The Qualification Tournament is organized by CSOPD (Czech Sport Organization for Physically Disabled) and CPHF (Česká federace Powerchair Hockey).
5 teams have been officially invited.
– Czech Republic as hosting
– Spain
– Slovenia
– Estonia
– Finland
Finland has also presented a letter of intent to host the upcoming EC2020, so if their bid will be winning and Finland will be appointed as hosting nation, they will automatically be allocated to participate the European Championship 2020. Therefore the allocated slot for the QT will automatically be withdrawn.
QT is an official competition as will have a weight on the WRL for all participating Nations.
