Extension of deadline for QT bidding
The International Powerchair Hockey Committee announces an extension of deadline, as no formal bids have arrived for the European QT 2027. As a result, this situation puts developing nations at risk of missing the pathway to the European Championship 2028. Therefore, IPCH aims to ensure inclusiveness and fair opportunity for all interested member nations, and it extends the bidding deadline accordingly.
Revised Deadline
- New deadline for QT bid submissions: 31 October 2025
- The deadline for the European Championship 2028 remains unchanged: 31 December 2025
Why this extension of deadline?
IPCH strongly believes in giving every nation — especially developing ones — a chance to join international competition. Therefore, this extension aims to encourage and support more member nations as they prepare proposals to host the QT.
Key Notes for Bidders
- A Letter of Intent (in English, signed by the national member body or authorized National Powerchair Hockey Organization) is required.
- It should include information about the Local Organizing Committee, venue(s), accommodation, proposed dates for inspection, preliminary budget, and sponsor plan.
- Once the Letter of Intent is accepted, IPCH will provide the official Bid Package and further guidance.
