Road to Finland 2026: Drawing Ceremony on 26 October at 17.00 CET

The road to the 2026 IPCH World Championship is getting more exciting with the drawing ceremony. The world’s best teams meet in Finland from 24 May to 1 June 2026. Fans won’t have to wait long to feel the excitement.

The official drawing ceremony takes place on 26 October in De Rijp, Netherlands. It happens during the IPCH Scout Mobility Dutch Nation’s Cup. The group draw will take place after the tournament.

Representatives will join the ceremony on stage. They include the Finnish Organising Committee. IPCH Chairperson Fabio Rodo will attend. Athletes’ Representative Gavin Drysdale will conduct the draw. IPCH Technical Delegates will supervise the process.

Seeding has already been decided. Denmark is the reigning World Champion. Denmark will be the top seed in Group A. The Netherlands won silver at the 2022 World Championship. The Netherlands will lead Group B.

Other nations will be drawn one by one. These include Belgium, Canada, Australia, and Italy. Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and Finland are also included. Teams will alternate between both groups. Each group will have five teams.

The tournament will feature 10 national teams. Excitement is already building. Fans are eager to see the group matchups. The answers will come in October.

The Dutch Nation’s Cup hosts the ceremony. Many international athletes will already be present. It’s the perfect moment to share this milestone. It also boosts visibility for the World Championship.
