About the ACC

The Athletes & Coaches Committee consists of five to eight members, including three elected athlete representatives.

Following the election, the three elected members will select one representative from among themselves to sit on the IPCH SEC as the ACC representative.

The ACC serves as a platform for athletes and coaches to share feedback, advocate for fair play, support athlete development, and contribute to improving the overall experience within international Powerchair Hockey.

Election Process

Voting for the ACC election will take place during the IPCH World Championship 2026 in Lahti, Finland.

Voting sessions will be held on May 27th and 28th between 19:00 and 21:00. Additional details regarding the voting process, location, and procedures will be shared with team managers during the World Championships.

All players competing at the IPCH World Championship 2026 are eligible to vote.

The election will be conducted by secret ballot. Athletes may vote for up to three candidates. The three candidates receiving the highest number of votes will be elected, with gender representation requirements applied to ensure balanced representation.

We encourage all athletes participating in the World Championships to take part in the voting process and help shape the future representation of athletes and coaches within international Powerchair Hockey.
