Mark your calendars! The 17th IPCH Sport Congress is set for Saturday, 28 November 2026, and we look forward to bringing the international Powerchair Hockey community together once again.

The Sport Congress is one of the most important events on the IPCH calendar—a chance for member nations to celebrate progress, discuss the future of our sport, and work together to continue growing Powerchair Hockey around the world.

🗳️ Election Year!

This year’s Sport Congress will also include elections for the IPCH Sport Executive Committee (SEC). If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved internationally, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of our sport.

Positions up for election include:

  • Chairperson – Leads the overall vision and strategic direction of IPCH while representing the sport internationally.
  • Secretary – Keeps the organisation running smoothly through governance, administration, and communication.
  • Technical & Classification Officer – Oversees technical rules, officiating, education, and classification.
  • Competition Officer – Oversees the development and delivery of international competitions, supports competition planning and bidding processes, manages the world ranking system, and works closely with technical officials to ensure high-quality events.
  • Development Officer – Helps expand Powerchair Hockey by supporting new and existing nations.
  • Communication & Marketing Officer – Promotes the sport through communications, media, marketing, and digital platforms.
  • ✨ NEW! Partnership Lead – Focuses on building relationships with organisations, companies, and strategic partners to increase awareness, create opportunities, and support the long-term growth of Powerchair Hockey worldwide.
  • ✨ NEW! Members at Large (2 positions) – Looking for a way to get involved? These flexible volunteer positions support the SEC with special projects and initiatives, making them a great starting point for anyone interested in contributing to the international development of the sport.

The official Sport Congress package, including the agenda, nomination process, election details, and supporting documents, will be distributed to all member nations in early September.
