Applications Now Open for the IPCH Classifier Course 2025

The International Powerchair Hockey (IPCH) Classification Committee is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the upcoming IPCH Classifier Course 2025, taking place from 21 to 27 October 2025.

This course will run in parallel with the IPCH Dutch Scout Mobility Nations Cup and will be held under the official supervision of the IPCH. It is designed for individuals who are motivated to become certified IPCH Classifiers — key figures responsible for implementing and maintaining the integrity of the IPCH Classification Rules.

About the Course

Classifiers are essential to ensuring fair and competitive play in Powerchair Hockey. Certified by the IPCH, they evaluate athletes as part of a Classification Panel and are appointed to each competition or event.

Participants in this course will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience during the event, including classification sessions and in-match observations.

Participation Details

  • The course is open to a maximum of 6 participants.
  • If the number of applicants exceeds this limit, the IPCH Classification Committee will conduct interviews to select the final group.

This course is a vital step in strengthening the international framework of Powerchair Hockey and ensuring its future growth and inclusivity.
