IPCH announces official collaboration with the The Pilsen Powerchair Open 2025

The International Powerchair Hockey Committee (IPCH) is thrilled to announce the endorsement of the second edition of the Pilsen Powerchair Open, set to take place from April 17 to 21, 2025. Following the success and positive feedback from the inaugural event in 2024, the Czech Powerchair Hockey organization is eager to once again offer players, coaches, assistants, and fans an unforgettable sporting experience. This year’s edition promises to build on the momentum from last year, enhancing both the competition and the community that makes Powerchair Hockey so special.

A Platform for Excellence and Collaboration

The Pilsen Powerchair Open 2025 is designed as a platform for exceptional sporting performances and a space for sharing knowledge and experiences. The LOC is committed to elevating the game of Powerchair Hockey by bringing together participants from various backgrounds and nations. The event will provide an opportunity for players and coaches to engage, learn, and grow, fostering the development of Powerchair Hockey at all levels.

In keeping with our mission to improve and promote the sport, we are particularly excited to introduce EDU DAY. This educational day, organized in collaboration with the IPCH Sport Executive Committee, will focus on developing coaching skills and enhancing the quality of the sport itself. EDU DAY will be a cornerstone of the tournament, offering valuable insights and practical training for coaches and assistants. This initiative aligns perfectly with our vision to not only grow the sport within the Czech Republic but also to make a significant impact internationally, improving standards and creating a unified approach to coaching and player development worldwide.

A Memorable Experience for All

While the Pilsen Powerchair Open 2025 will showcase world-class talent and sportsmanship, we are also determined to make it a truly memorable event for everyone involved. The atmosphere of the tournament will be warm, inclusive, and friendly, with a strong focus on ensuring that all participants feel supported and comfortable. Whether you’re a player, coach, assistant, or fan, our goal is to create a space where everyone can perform at their best and leave with not only valuable experience but also cherished memories.

As an official IPCH-endorsed event, the Pilsen Powerchair Open will uphold the highest standards of organization and execution. We are dedicated to providing optimal conditions for all participants, from the playing environment to the logistical support. The tournament will not only be a celebration of Powerchair Hockey but also a testament to the collective effort of everyone involved in the sport.

Breaking Boundaries and Inspiring Change

At its core, the Pilsen Powerchair Open is about more than just competition; it’s about breaking down barriers and inspiring people to push their limits. This tournament is an opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills, for coaches to enhance their knowledge, and for everyone involved to experience the power of sport in its most inclusive form.

The Pilsen Powerchair Open 2025 will be a chance to celebrate the spirit of Powerchair Hockey, both as a sport and as a community, and we look forward to welcoming all participants to what promises to be another remarkable tournament.
