European Championship 2024 Drawing Ceremony

The Drawing Ceremony of the IPCH European Championship 2024 is just a week away! This group draw is the first official and public step towards the upcoming competition.

The ceremony takes place in Musholm on February 24th at 15.00 CET and will be streamed live on the IPCH Facebook page.

We are excited to welcome some special guests who will take part in the ceremony, be sure not to miss it!

The 8 allocated nations for the EC2024 are:

1. Denmark (n.1 on the IPCH World Ranking List and Hosting country)
2. Netherlands (n.2 on the IPCH World Ranking List – Winner of EC2016)
3. Belgium (Winner QT2023)
4. Switzerland (n.3 on the IPCH World Ranking List)
5. Italy (n.4 on the IPCH World Ranking List – Runner up of EC2016)
6. Finland (n.5 on the IPCH World Ranking List)
7. Germany (n.6 on the IPCH World Ranking List)
8. Spain  (n.7 on the IPCH World Ranking List)

Note that the drawing ceremony will be based on the EC2016 results as the EC2020 was unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore The Netherlands will be placed as top seed of Group A as the winner of the EC2016 while Italy that won silver medal in 2016 will be top seed of group B. The rest of the draw will be conducted by lottery, alternating teams between group A and B.
