IPCH Classifier and Referee Observer course at 3 nations tournament
From 18 to 21 April, The IN JET Tournament will be held at Villaggio Marzotto, Jesolo -Italy. The tournament will be organized by IPCH under the auspices of World Abilitysport and in collaboration with FIPPS (Federazione Italiana Paralimpica Powerchair Sports). During the event, IPCH will offer educational opportunities for officials.
This IPCH sanctioned event is valid for the World Ranking and is an opportunity for the competing teams of Italy, Finland and Switzerland to play on the international stage before the European Championship in October.

IPCH CLASSIFIER COURSE – 17 TO 21 APRIL
Classifiers are fundamental to the effective implementation of the IPCH Classification Rules. By performing an Athlete Evaluation before and during the competition, athletes acquire a sport specific powerchair hockey class and status. The classes of athletes ensure a fair competition as teams will be balanced equally.
The course will consist of a theoretical part followed by a practical one as the participants will be actively involved in the classification panels that the tournament will offer to the participating teams.
The course can host up to 8 participants willing to get the IPCH Classifier License.
An IPCH Classifier trainee must have certain competences and skills to be a good candidate as well as meeting some mandatory requirements before the course. IPCH REFEREE OBSERVER COURSE – 18 TO 21 APRIL
Referee Observers play in integral role in the development and progression of referees. They observe referees during games and give feedback, providing a detailed analysis of the referee’s strengths and development areas based on the observation guidelines as well as on the wishes and expectations of the referees concerned.
An IPCH Referee Observer trainee must have certain competences and skills to be a good candidate. There are also some mandatory requirements. All information can be found in this document.
The course can host up to 6 people interested in becoming an IPCH Referee Observer.
